The Evolution of Gorillaz

Gorillaz's new album "Humanz" is certain to make a huge splash with its new style.

Gorillaz is an indie/alternative band that was created in the year 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett. The band consist of 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs, four animated characters, and on April 28, their new album, Humanz, was released and has been a huge success everywhere. Fans were ecstatic over the new album’s release, as they have been waiting for a long time for a new one to come along. 

 

 

 

Humanz is the fifth album to be released by Gorillaz, consisting of four unique songs. However, some fans were a bit let down by this album because they felt like it did not give off the true makings of this band. But a majority of the fans loved the album, as it gave off a new and unique sound to it. Many fans though this album is perfect for parties and a night of fun. This album also has a lot diversity to it, courtesy of its variety of sounds while retaining the band’s original flair.

 

 

 

Although fans do say that this album is very fun, some think it was a bit of a let down. Many fans and newcomers enjoyed the music on the album, yet has many mixed reviews. For those looking for an album that is fun to dance to or to even just chill, Humanz is certainly an adequate soundtrack
